Philosophy
To borrow from Forrest Gump, teaching is like a box of chocolates! Every year I'm excited to discover the different strengths and personalities of my students. I want every student to leave my classroom more confident in their academic and social abilities as well as knowing that they are an important part of the world!
Personal Information
I moved from Connecticut after marrying my husband, Jim, in 1990. I began my college experience at Texas Christian University studying Deaf Education. After getting married, I finished my Elementary Education degree at Friends University. Jim and I have three children, Jake, Madeline and Hope.
